About the Vinal PTO

Our Mission

The role of the Vinal Parent Teacher Organization is to support and enhance the educational experience of all of our students, and to strengthen the sense of community among all members of our school.

Through events, fundraising and enrichment activities, the Vinal PTO is able to encourage interactions between families and the school while serving as a source of support on all ends. Being liaisons with teachers, staff and the Vinal community, we aim to improve our children's educational experience in every capacity. By working closely with administration in all projects, we continue to foster and support an environment where teachers and student cans do their best work.

Meet the Vinal PTO Board

  • Susan Davis

    President, Serves as the primary contact between the PTO Board and the Vinal School Principal. Facilitates communication of PTO and Vinal School information and events to the Vinal community. Plans and runs monthly meetings including Board and General Meetings. Responsible for coordination and supporting the work of the Vice Presidents and their committees.

  • Dannielle Shepherd

    VP of Finance, Deposits all funds of the organization, including scholarships and enrichment, and pays bills as necessary. Maintains and keeps all financial records. Provides an accurate report on the PTO budget at each meeting. Provides the President and Board with a monthly financial report.

  • Katie Kenney

    VP of Communications, Works with committee chairs to publicize events, send out email notices, update social media, maintain PTO website, complete and distribute meeting agendas and minutes, and publish the Vinal School directory.

  • Erin Griffith

    VP of School Programs, Works with committee chairs to develop, organize, and run school-related programs including Celebration Books, Field Day, In School Enrichment Programs, and Staff Appreciation to name a few.

  • Katelyn Gleason

    VP of Fundraising, Works with committee chairs to develop, organize, and run school-related fundraising programs including Annual Appeal, Norwell Gear/Spirit Apparel, Shopper's Rewards Programs, Scholastic Book Fair, and special fundraising events.

  • Jessica Flynn

    VP of Community Programs, Works with committee chairs to develop, organize, and run community-focused events such as Family Movie Night, Stay and Play, and the Ice Cream Social.

  • Lauren Previte

    VP of Community Programs, Works with committee chairs to develop, organize, and run community-focused events such as Family Movie Night, Stay and Play, and the Ice Cream Social.

  • Beth Monticone

    VP of Community Programs, Works with committee chairs to develop, organize, and run community-focused events such as Family Movie Night, Stay and Play, and the Ice Cream Social.
